My Glam Bag April 2012

In this bag for the month of April, I got the ugliest metallic pink bag. I didn't like it at all! It looked really cheaply made and it a slight smell to it, not pleased with it. Anyway, in the bag came 2 small brushes, an angle liner brush and a very small shader brush, I will say, the brushes were ok, kinda good quality and matched the brush I got in last months bag. Then I received a Dermstore lip quench, I love love love this product! It's thick and stays on and it has a slightly pink hue to it and smells good. It's so conditioning and a great product all around, I highly recommend it!!! The next thing was an Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner in Junkie, it's a greenish blue color and I love the 24/7 pencils!!! Amazing product, they stay on so well and I don't have to worry about smudging or that I'm going to have raccoon eyes! The last thing and probably just as disappointing as the bag were some fake lashes from idk where. I'm thinking China, but I could be wrong. They look so cheap and I would never wear them because you would be able to tell how fake they are, I tossed those!
Anyway, this was my glam bag for this month, I guess it was ok. I'm glad about the eyeliner and lip balm and the brushes, other than that, idk if I'm going to stick with Glam Bag. I feel like they need to have better bags like they did right off the bat or they are going to lose customers...no bueno!!!

Battle of the monthly sub. boxes

I've been a member of birch box and glam bag for 2 months and I have to say, I haven't been exactly happy. I feel that they are ok for the $10 a month sub. fee. I'm sure that glam bag will be getting better as the months go on, this is their 4th or 5th mail out and I've received 3 out of those. Birch box in the other hand has been in business for awhile and I'm some what pleased with what I've been receiving in my boxes. I have subscribed to several more sub services and once I get those in, I will take photos and do a full review here and on my YouTube channel so keep a look out for that.

And....I'm so sorry I've been absent from my blog and from doing videos but I've been sick with allergies, the flu, bronchitis and then relapsed with the flu again. It's been a battle but I'm feeling much much better. I look forward to much more to come on here and I'm going to try and blog twice a week to get me back in track!

Busy Bee

I've been so busy getting the business side of Sassy Chica squared away and let me tell you, it's been a crazy ride. but as of today, we are officially a proprietorship :) Thank You Jesus!!!! I'm super excited about all the things that are coming up. As you can tell, I'm now affiliated with Ulta and Sigma Beauty and I'm excited about my upcoming venture with Sanrio. God has truly blessed me and I'm so very thankful. None of this would have been possible if I didn't believe in Him and believe that in myself.

I can't to see what's going to happen next!!!!

Burrrr

Well today was a total bust! I was going to shopping and film everything, but the weather had other plans. It's gotten cold over here, raining and sleeting and if you're from Texas, you know that's not a good mix for driving. I know, other places get hit with snow and it's bad too, but what's worse? Ice or snow??? Anyways, it suck and now I'm super sad :( There is a bright side, I got my Birch Box today and My Glam Bag should be here this week too and so is all the other stuff I ordered online!!!! Yay, HAULS!!!

I can't wait to open everything. I think I'm gonna do an open box video!!! So you can see all I got right when I open it ;)

Welcome everyone, this is my first blog and I'm super excited about it. I'd love to tell you a little about me and what this blog will be about. I'm Kimberly, I'm 32 and live in Texas. I teach Sunday school at a local church and I have a major passion for fashion, makeup, nail polish and all things girlie.
